About the Artwork:
William Bock's new work on exhibit is softer and more muted then his usually vibrant and expressive canvases. He has recently been influenced by early 20th century romanticism, which is evident in his brushwork and palette. This mellowing of Bock's style adds a pleasing dimension to his extensive body of work.
Herbert Eisenberg is a self-taught painter working in acrylics. He began painting in 1978 after 37 years as a professional musician playing trumpet with symphony orchestras and Broadway shows. He approaches his abstract canvases as he would a musical composition and lets the artwork inspire its own direction and conclusion.
Flo Lowe's paintings in acrylic and mixed media evoke tranquil moods. Reminiscent of Monet's Water Lilies her soft atmospheric acrylic canvases seem to radiate warmth and coolness depending on her palette. She frequently travels between her studios in Boston and South Florida.
