A resident of Princeton, Margaret Kennard Johnson’s work reflects her experiences of visiting Karnak in Egypt, studying under Josef Albers at Black Mountain College and years of exposure to Japanese culture while living in Tokyo. She holds a B.F.A. from Pratt Institute, an M.A. in Design from the University of Michigan. The co-author of Japanese Prints Today, she has taught at the Museum of Modern Art and Pratt Institute, and is represented in museum collections including the British Museum.

"Innovative Imprints and Impressions", part of an ongoing series of exhibitions, will be on display in Stark & Stark’s first and third floor reception area galleries through October 23, 1998. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The exhibit is free and the public is cordially invited. Stark & Stark is located at 993 Lenox Drive, Building Two, Lawrenceville.
