Carole Depalma
Carole Depalma creates figurative sculptures, painted in metallic or bright pastel hues.  Many of her works combine human and animal forms into surprising anthropomorphic beings with a touch of playful fantasy.  Her clay figures are roughly sculpted and textured, giving them a naive, charming quality.  Carole's work is quiet and contemplative, but also subtly joyful.

Carole's painted work combines ancient and mythological references with swirling abstract regions of color.  Overall, her  work seems highly personal, with each piece portraying a bit of Carole's inner vision and spirituality.
Carole sculpts and paints in this cozy studio behind her home.
