Shirley's photograph captures a quiet moment at one of Yosemite's
walking bridges that cross the Merced on the Yosemite Valley floor.
The image is wonderfully composed, resulting in a balanced composition
of delightful abstract forms, and a serenely beautiful winter scene.
The photo is particularly successful in its use of contrast, especially
between the caps of new fallen snow, and the clear dark water of the river.
