Centrally located in downtown Santa Cruz, not far from Costa Brava is Artisans, one of the few places in Santa Cruz that offers the work of local artists, including many who take part in the Open Studios event. Artisans is a great place to get a feeling for local arts and crafts, or to pick up a creative gift for a friend.  The store specializes in art, crafts, jewelry, glass, and gifts. Patrons interested in local artists will find watercolors and prints by Marie Gabrielle, hand painted photography by Marianne Clancy, and ceramics by Will Sanford and Linda Schauble.  Catalogs for Open Studios can be purchased as well.
