Michael Eckerman
Michael Eckerman creates stunning organic stonework. His works are both functional structures, and decorative compositions.  His fieldstone designs flow like water in Gaudi-like organic patterns in a normally rigid medium.  Michael integrates freeform curves with the typically random patterns of traditional fieldstone construction. This combination evokes a sense of both fluidity and strength.  The imaginative use of pattern and organic flowing forms also gives the work a fantastic aesthetic that would not be out of place in a faerie garden or fantasy castle.

Michael accents his work with strategically placed glass, metal and ceramic elements like these richly colored glass baubles in his garden.
